María Bellalta
Maria Bellalta is Dean and faculty of the School of Landscape Architecture at the Boston Architectural College, where she teaches design theory and advanced studios. She is Chair of Foundation Studies and Director of Advanced Interdisciplinary Studios. She holds a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from Harvard University, Graduate School of Design, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Norte Dame.
María is a former Design Director for Martha Schwartz Partners where she oversaw multiple international projects. Throughout her professional career, Maria has worked for prestigious design firms in the Boston area, including Sasaki Associates, Copley Wolff Design Group, and her own LTX Urban Landscapes Studio. She has worked on planning and urban design projects throughout the United States and the Middle East, with an emphasis on sustainable design for civic spaces and new urban landscapes.
